What we collect
Contact form: name, email address, optional phone number, subject and message. Student portal: identity, student number, programme, level, contact details, grades, enrolments and administrative documents.
Why
To answer your request, manage your application, and handle the academic and administrative follow-up of your studies. No data is sold or passed to third parties.
Where the data lives
Student portal data is hosted in France, on an OVHcloud MySQL database. Every query is scoped to the signed-in account: a student can only read their own data. Passwords are stored as Argon2id hashes, never in clear text.
For how long
Contact messages are kept for three years. Student files are kept in line with the legal obligations applicable to educational institutions.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by writing to contacts@groupesmi.com. We answer within one month.
Cookies
The site sets a language preference cookie, a form anti-forgery cookie and, if you sign in to the student portal, a session cookie. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers.
